Description
185 CFM Tow-Behind Diesel Air Power
The ELGi D185T4F air compressor is a direct-drive, tow-behind rotary screw compressor delivering 185 CFM at 100 PSI. It is powered by a Kohler KDI 1903 TCR Tier 4 Final diesel engine and is built for construction, maintenance, utility and blasting applications that need a full 185 CFM air supply.
An available dual-pressure configuration is listed at 150 CFM at 150 PSI, expanding the operating range for compatible equipment. The model was previously sold under the Rotair brand in North America.

Using the D185T4F for Dry Ice Blasting
A 185 CFM compressor can support many professional dry ice blasting systems, but compatibility depends on the machine’s required airflow at the selected pressure. The optional 150 PSI mode provides higher pressure with reduced airflow and should be matched to the blaster’s operating curve rather than treated as 185 CFM at 150 PSI.
Dry ice blasting requires moisture control. Depending on ambient conditions and compressor options, add an aftercooler, water separator, coalescing filter and dryer sized for the full airflow. Hose length, fittings and treatment components all reduce delivered pressure.
Review our dry ice blasting compressor and air-treatment guide before finalizing the system.
